The first phase is called "Sport and Park". An important part of the first phase is the baseball and softball complex of the Hoofdorp Pioniers. This complex is officially opened in April 2014. The high quality of the complex meets all the de Major League Baseball standards.
The existing riding school and garden center are incorprated in the spatial concept of this area.
Since 2015 this part of PARK21 is open to the public.
